Denali flightseeing

Q:Which is the correct name, McKinley or Denali?
A: Denali is from the Athabaskan dialect and roughly translates to "the high one", the name first used by locals. Denali was made an official wilderness area in 1917 (it was called Mt. McKinley National Park then having been named for the U.S. President, William McKinley). In 1980 that the name changed to Denali National Park and Preserve. Whichever you use, we know what you mean.

Q: What about the weather?
A: We can't control the weather and your pilot will always have your safety in mind so trips may occassionally have to be rescheduled. You may want to sign up for the tour you want but be as flexible as possible in the event a slot opens.

Q: How do I get to your location?
A: We have a map showing our location and a map of the areas where we fly. Click MAP to view the map. A courtesy shuttle is available from local area hotels for those without vehicles.

Q: What should I bring along and should I dress warm?
A: Sturdy walking shoes, sunglasses, film/batteries, light coat. Our planes are kept comfortably warm so extra clothes are not necessary.
